Collagen and Elastin are the most important proteins found in the human body. Collagen makes up three-quarters of proteins found in the skin and provides the skin with resilience to withstand stretching and punctures whilst elastin ensures its elasticity. While young our collagen still retains all of its moisturising properties and the skin appears smooth and soft with a healthy complexion.
